Old Ship

February

Pros: staff great

Cons: needs to be dry docked

Recommended: No

This ship was in such bad shape, from rust, towels that were thin and rough, balcony doors that didn't work, running out of hot water on an almost daily basis, hit and miss if you had air conditioning, beds taped together with duct tape, etc.

The Ultimate Caribbean and The Americas

January

Pros: The employees all obviously liked their work. They were well trained in their jobs; were friendly, energetic, and very helpful. Each employee with whom we interacted was proactive in his/her caretaking of customers. The San Marcos was a beautiful A-1 restaurant. My husband and I are vegetarian and vegan respectively; our meals were superb. The staff who attended to us were amazing in every regard. Table 419: Head Waiter - Nolan, Assistant Waiter - Queenter, and Sommelier - John. Our Room Attendant was Mark (Room 7081). He anticipated our every need and was always friendly and excellent at his job. The room and balcony felt like two different spaces; it felt roomy and pleasant. Obviously, the view was beautiful.

Cons: Even though we upgraded our Internet package, we found it to be lacking in service at times. We got Covid and were quarantined for the last half of the cruise. We were well cared for. I strongly urge you to require that guests show proof of two Covid vaccinations and two Covid boosters. We are fully vaccinated and boosted.

Recommended: Yes

We will definitely cruise with Celebrity again. We had a great time before we got Covid and were quarantined, Even then, we were well cared for and contacted frequently by staff via stateroom phone. The ship was very clean and all activities were well organized. There was huge diversity in terms of what was offered at any given time.

February

Pros: very relaxing, clean, great shows, the island stops were beautiful

Cons: Food in the dining and buffet were alright.

Recommended: Yes

Overall the trip was great-we didn't have any issues. The Dinners were okay-not great, some at our table didn't eat the food. The ship had plenty of activities to stay busy. Peurta Plata was gorgeous-

June

Pros: Ports, nightly shows, food, wonderful crew

Cons: Dated ship, departure from Ravenna which is 2+ hours south of Venice.

Recommended: Yes

The ship is older so the pool and other amenities will not compete with newer ships. However, the service is excellent. We ate in the main dining room 8/10 nights as the menu changed each evening and we were always able to find something delicious. The nightly entertainment varied but we saw some wonderful performers and there was live music throughout the day in many venues. Celebrity updated our rooms to balconies which was a real saver on a cruise this long - just to be able to get fresh air into the room and dry laundry - but we did end up sitting on the balcony more than we expected. The ship was not full - we believe it was at around 70% capacity - which we also appreciated. We didn't have to wait for anything and were always able to get a dinner reservation. We spent a day in Venice before departure but if you aren't doing that I would recommend flying into Bologna which still requires a transfer but is much closer. We had rented a car in Ravenna for the return but had to take the ship transfer to the Ravenna train station then a taxi, only to learn that Hertz would have picked us up from the ship! There are NO taxis meeting the ship. The port is 20+ minutes from Ravenna and there are no services nearby.

CARIBBEAN CRUISE

November

Pros: FRIENDLY, COURTEOUS, ACCOMMODATING, CLEAN, INFORMATIVE

Cons: CANCELLED EXCURSIONS

Recommended: Yes

Taking into consideration the time of travel (Covid), overall the cruise was wonderful. The staff was very considerate. Every request made was met with efficiency and a smile. The crew, from the Captain to the housekeeping staff was very visible and courteous. Every consideration was made to make our vacation as enjoyable and safe as possible.

Celebrity Constellation cruise from Tampa to Belize & Cozumel

November

Pros: Aqua Class amenities, drink package/tips included

Cons: As of 11/21 ship needs to be refurbished

Recommended: Yes

First cruise out for this ship in 20 months. Went ok, all in all. La Petit restaurant (group dinner set up by Paulette) was outstanding - a great time & great food! Shore Excursions: Jaguar Cave tube float in Belize - cave float was good. Time to get there - bus & final walk in - was too long for time spent in cave. Cozumel ruins were interesting.
